Coaching for physical well-being can involve everything from finding creative ways to implement functional motion exercise activities into your day, ensuring that your energy level allows you to keep up with the kiddos or grandbabies, further your recovery after discharge from medical care, improving balance to prevent age-related falls, or work to decrease the aches and pains of long term health conditions. All of these and more may be addressed through different exercise methods.
Over GoToMeeting, you'll be taken through a thorough health history and an evaluation of your needs and goals will be identified and assessed. You and I will work as a team to create and follow through with your individualized plan.

Where does yours come from? It's a combination of numerous factors and it's our job to work together to find what your stressors are, why stress does what it does to you, identify eating, sleeping, activity, communication, and behavioral patterns associated with your stress, and work with you to create stress pattern interrupts and long-term goals.
You will be taken through a thorough consultation appointment where open ended questions help identify your sources of stress, what impacts your stress has on you, customize a plan designed to help you with your stress management goals, and lock down our meeting schedule. Sometimes groups, organizations, or teams are in need of coaching.
You will be taken through a consultation appointment to determine what your team's needs are and make some basic recommendations to determine the way forward. Your group may or may not have needs that require prework. There are multiple self-report questionnaires that may be used to fit your team's needs including personality testing, emotional intelligence testing, communication skills testing, and stress resilience testing.
After all of the necessary background is completed, the real work begins. I will make more in-depth recommendations to you for your group based on the results gathered from the prework. Those recommendations will guide weekly workshops that will be conducted via GoToMeeting to help your team discover where they are, understand how individuals think, listen for stress indicators, improve situational awareness, and communication skills.

Wellness encompasses all aspects of life.
Have you ever wondered about computer posture and how to fix it? Is gut health really the big deal that I see on TV? Is the microbiome a made up thing? Why is journaling a thing? Why is it so hard for me to talk to some people? Can I get rid of my brain fog? What's the deal with 10,000 steps per day? Why does 2020 stress seem to be hanging over to 2021?
To all of these questions and more, I have a monthly workshop series starting in April 2021, announced here and on my Words of Wellness Achieved Blog, and will be completed on the GoToMeeting platform. The workshops may overlap slightly but will cover different topics monthly. Please register for the workshops below.
Over my career, I have seen so many people with a variety of hip, knee, low back, shoulders, neck, hand, and foot pains all due to poor posture or have poor posture as a contributing factor. Sometimes, but not always, people say that they have headaches and eye pain. I have developed a process where a full evaluation of your posture, movement patterns, and walking gait is performed to find where your problem areas are. I meet you where you are and work with you to develop an action plan to correct the cause(s) of the problem, decrease pain, increase quality of life, and decrease your stress level. All of this is completed via GoToMeeting.

Can you diagnose injury or illness?
-No. I'm not a doctor. Legally it is not within my scope of practice to diagnose injury, illness, or disease. I will take an account of your health history, assess your goals, and together we'll peel back the layers to create your plan for wellness achieved.
Why can't I schedule my appointment through your website?
-To guarantee your privacy, your appointments are scheduled directly with me. For this same reason workshop enrollment is handled via email as well.
How many sessions can I expect to have?
-Your plan is totally customized and is made to evolve as your needs or goals change. You and I will determine in your evaluation appointment what your likely length of time of session and number of sessions should ensure that your needs are met.
Do you take insurance?
-Unfortunately, I am unable to take insurance.
Can I pay through your website?
-To maintain your privacy, an invoice is emailed to you. Payments are accepted via PayPal using their secure site.
What meeting platform do you use?
-To maintain HIPPA compliance, I use GoToMeeting. Please enable your device to allow access to your microphone and speakers.
Are there group or corporate workshops available?
